the light, the temperature, and the garden are all showing the signs of summer waning and the season beginning to change. I’ll continue with making images of flowers but am going to post less regularly. This has been my training blog, my sandbox, a place to learn the mechanics and create the blogging habit. I have a new blog in development that I will be concentrating on launching sometime in September. I’ll keep this one going in a lesser capacity until it’s time to put it to bed for the winter.

I just had to share this – after taking this picture I looked a little closer… check out the snail fest! They were everywhere and on everything. Never saw so many in my life. Is this good?

Another plant gone too far in my garden and not easily held in check. It has a pleasant flower, leaf, and form but it willfully wants to get into everything, I say tenacious because its roots grisp onto the soil quite strongly when trying to weed by hand. And it has sprung up everywhere around the garden – ugh! Although it has medicinal, culinary, and insecticidal  qualities, I won’t miss it when the garden rescue team takes it all away this fall.
